In today’s episode we continue our investigation into the actual science behind the Earth’s ever changing climate, and we explore the political underpinnings of climate alarmism and the bogus mainstream narrative claims that CO2 causes global warming.

Joining us today is a very accomplished Canadian engineer and businessman, with a successful track record of operations spanning across 6 continents.  Mr. Allan MacRae is a true Canadian; with his ancestors having fought and died for this country in every conflict since the War of 1812.

Over the span of his career Mr. MacRae has been involved at senior a level within the petroleum sector, and he has witnessed first hand the corruption of climate science at the hands of the leftist communists. Mr. MacRae is also a dedicated humanitarian having been involved with housing the homeless in Calgary for over a decade. During his volunteer tenure on the board of directors at the Calgary Drop-in and Rehab Centre the facility grew from 600 funded shelter beds to over 1200, and provided 1.2 million free meals per year. This facility is now the largest such organization in Canada.

In 2016 Mr. MacRae was also responsible for averting a major disaster in SE Calgary. He was made aware of unsafe operating conditions at a sour gas plant known as the Mazeppa project. If the cost cutting measures at the plant had resulted in a pipeline rupture, as many as 300,000 people could have been killed or seriously injured from the neurotoxin hydrogen sulphide. Mr. MacRae alerted the Alberta Energy Regulator which quickly confirmed the potential problem and immediately shut down the facility and averted a disaster.

In today’s program we are going to explore Canadian’s charter rights, and learn about the growing number of legal actions being taken against the governments of Canada, both at a Federal and Provincial level,  in response to their misguided and devastating covid reactions.

Today we are very fortunate to have Dr. Willie Soon, an renown astrophysicist and geoscientist, and a leading authority on the relationship between solar phenomena and global climate. Dr. Soon earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Science and a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California

Dr. Soon is an astrophysicist at the Solar, Stellar and Planetary Sciences Division of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, a position he has held since 1997. He has served as receiving editor for New Astronomy from 2002-2016, the contributing editor for Environment & Climate News from 1997 to 2000, and as an astronomer at the Mount Wilson Observatory from 1992-2009. He is also a policy advisor to The Heartland Institute.

His discoveries challenge computer modellers and advocates who consistently underestimate solar influences on cloud formation, ocean currents, and wind that cause climate to change. He has faced and risen above unethical and often libelous attacks on his research and his character, becoming one of the world's most respected and influential voices for climate realism.

Dr Soon has earned numerous awards during his career, and has been a prolific author of scientific literature. Dr. Soon's honors include a 1989 IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society Graduate Scholastic Award and a Rockwell Dennis Hunt Scholastic Award from the University of Southern California for the most representative Ph.D. research thesis of 1991.

In 2003, Dr. Soon received the Smithsonian Institution (Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory) Award in official recognition of work performance reflecting a high standard of accomplishment. In 2004, Soon received the Petr Beckmann award for courage and achievement in defense of scientific truth and freedom from the Doctors for Disaster Preparedness. In 2014, Dr. Soon received the Courage in Defense of Science Award from the George Marshall Institute. In 2017 he received the Frederick Seitz Memorial Award from the Science and Environmental Policy Project.

Dr. Soon is the author of The Maunder Minimum and the Variable Sun-Earth Connection (World Scientific Publishing Company, 2004). He is the coauthor, with Sebastian Lüning, of "Chapter 2: Solar Forcing of Climate" in Climate Change Reconsidered II: Physical Science; the author of "Sun Shunned" in Climate Change: The Facts 2014; and coauthor, with S. Baliunas, of "A brief review of the sun-climate connection, with a new insight concerning water vapour" in Climate Change: The Facts 2017.

Joining us today is an energy expert, Mr. Robert McCullough.  Mr. McCullough has produced a number of reports to date regarding Site C, with the most recent one being published at the end of Feb 2021.  Mr. McCullough is the Principal of McCullough Research in Portland, OR, and has been in business for over twenty five years advising governments, utilities, and First Nations on energy, metals, paper, and chemical issues. 

He has testified repeatedly in state, federal, and provincial courts as well as before Congress and other regulatory bodies. His testimony in front of the Senate Energy Committee is credited with initiating the Enron trading investigations during which time he worked for the U.S. Department of Justice and three western attorneys general.

Before starting McCullough Research, Mr. McCullough was an officer at Portland General Corporation where he had responsibilities in finance, power marketing, and rate setting. He was educated at Reed College, Portland State University, and Cornell University in economics and finance. He is a member of the American Economic Association and  the American Financial Association. He has also been an adjunct professor and visiting scholar of economics at Portland State University since 1996.

His traffic beat included Hwy 401 a section of roadway that is 18 lanes wide and sees more traffic than LA’s Santa Monica freeway. This makes Hwy 401 the highest volume and highest density roadway in North America. With that distinction also comes some of the highest incidents of collisions and fatalities. He has investigated over 4,000 traffic incidents. Equipped with forensic collision reconstruction training, Vince attended the scene of over 200 horrific fatalities in just a few short years.

As a highly trained forensic crash scene investigator, well versed in taking notes of the evidence, anomalies, and their causation, his skill set has now been personally redeployed to serve a new purpose in his retirement. Observing today’s world around him is an ongoing investigation being conducted with enhanced clarity, renewed acuity, and laser focus.

Today we are very fortunate to have Professor Richard Lindzen on the program, one of the most preeminent climate scientists on Earth. Dr. Lindzen received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University in 1964, and from 1983 until his retirement in 2013 he was the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he presently maintains Professor Emeritus status.

Dr Lindzen is a dynamical meteorologist with interests in the broad topics of climate, planetary waves, monsoon meteorology, planetary atmospheres, and hydrodynamic instability.   His research involves studies of the role of the tropics in mid-latitude weather and global heat transport, the moisture budget and its role in global change, the origins of ice ages, seasonal effects in atmospheric transport, stratospheric waves, and the observational determination of climate sensitivity.

Dr. Lindzen has developed models for the Earth's climate with specific concern for the stability of the ice caps, the sensitivity to increases in CO2, the origin of the 100,000 year cycle in glaciation, and the maintenance of regional variations in climate. Furthermore, he has made major contributions to the development of the current theory for the Hadley Circulation, and provided accepted explanations for atmospheric tides and the quasi-biennial oscillation of the tropical stratosphere. He pioneered the study of how ozone photochemistry, radiative transfer and dynamics interact with each other. He has also been developing a new approach to air-sea interaction in the tropics, and is actively involved in parameterizing the role of cumulus convection in heating and drying the atmosphere and in generating upper level cirrus clouds.

Prof. Lindzen is a recipient of the AMS's Meisinger, and Charney Awards, the AGU's Macelwane Medal, and the Leo Huss Walin Prize. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, and the Norwegian Academy of Sciences and Letters, and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences, the American Geophysical Union and the American Meteorological Society. He is a corresponding member of the NAS Committee on Human Rights, and has been a member of the NRC Board on Atmospheric Sciences and Climate and the Council of the AMS.   He has also been a consultant to the Global Modeling and Simulation Group at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, and a Distinguished Visiting Scientist at California Institute of Technology's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His ongoing research is currently focused studying what determines the pole to equator temperature difference, the nonlinear equilibration of baroclinic instability and the contribution of such instabilities to global heat transport.
