Today we're discussing how it seems like no one will ever understand what you go through. The truth is, no one ever will. The variable of your personality, the time period you were born into, the circumstances that you go through in life, and the personalities of the people around you, are so unique, it's impossible to completely understand what someone is going through. But in Revelation 2:7, Jesus says to the one who overcomes, he'll get a stone with his new name on it.
What if that name is basically your story? What if that name describes everything you've ever overcome? Jesus says that this name he gives to the overcomer, will only be known by the one who recieves it. No one can truly understand your story. But what do you want that story to be?

April 03, 2024 008 - What this podcast has done in my life
Ep 8 - What's happened to me since I started this.
Today we're getting real about how this channel is affecting me! When I set out on this journey, it wasn't to show I had it all figured out, it was to help focus me and my growth. After starting the channel and getting through Launch Week, I found myself kinda empty. It was surprising how quickly the "depth" of my revelations dried up. This channel almost ended before we even got started! But God is faithful and has been calling me to dig deeper than ever before. Giving out so actively, burned through the excess I had stored up thinking I had enough. God wants us to know that no relationship is ever "finished." We can always grow. And that's the lesson I've learned this week. Let's dive in.

Today we're talking about the commandment Jesus gave us that will change the world, and that's Loving our Enemies. It's THE hardest concept to follow. But to Love Your Enemy is above all, the stance that separates out those that follow Jesus from the rest of the world. The only way to make an impact, the only way we're going to change the world, is by Love. And not just love for the coolest or the prettiest or the most successful. But love for the trolls, the frustrating people, the people who disagree with you, the irritating people, the ones who we just can't with. Jesus says, those are the people we are to love.
We can't fight and argue in the same way. We can't overcome evil with the same evil. We can only overcome evil with good.

Accepting God's love, accepting the Love of I AM is the first key in our entire relationship with him. It's essential to understand that before we get to anything, God loved us FIRST. Before you rack up your accomplishments, before you count all your failures, before any decision, before any tragedy, God LOVED US. And he loved us at our worst! He paid everything to bridge the gap in our relationship, not while we had everything figure out, not when we lost weight, not when we got that promotion, not when we finally bought a house, NO, he paid everything while we were at our worst.
It's the greatest thing EVER!

Today we're discussing the over arching story of HUMANITY! What is the
thread that flows through the stories of the Bible? We're going to look
at relationship vs. Religion. How is it that humans interact with God?
Wasn't God's plan all about giving humans a bunch of rules? Isn't God
just a bunch of rules?
We're talking about how I AM, this very present and personal God, has
only ever wanted to share his love with people. He created a perfect
world, that humans messed up. He gave us life and we brought in death.
The Bible is stuff with stories of God's people repeatedly stiff-arming
God and walking away from him.
Then Jesus steps in and finishes the work for all time! To finally
restore that relationship with people. God and humanity restored again
together!
