Call of Duty Vanguard is really good, both the campaign and the multiplayer. So many bad teams won games they had no business winning, and the Titans are starting to scare me again. EDG are World Champions, could be the last one the LPL wins for a while. Their skins will be pretty sick though. Arcane is REALLY good

The NFL made absolutely no sense this weekend, but what else is new? The NHL and NHLPA need to blow it up and just start over at this point. The best series of Worlds has already happened but the next few years are going to be an interesting time for League Esports.

Things are even weirder than normal in the NFL. Don't panic yet Chiefs fans, there's plenty of fans who should be panicking but you aren't one of them...not yet anyway. Worlds Groups are...interesting to say the least. Such a weird mix of college football teams not living up to expectations and massively overperforming. Ben Simmons is a child and Kyrie Irving is an idiot.

The Ravens FINALLY get a win against the Chiefs and it felt amazing. The NFL is going to be WILD this year. CDL RosterMania continues to be insane with new rosters confirmed and two more from last year sticking together. Liberty should really be ranked, but it's fine. Literally everyone in college football is beatable this year. Battlefield gets delayed, Activision is getting investigated by the SEC (the government one, not the college sports one) and TimtheTatman signed with, and invested in, Complexity.

I actually forgot how much better college football is with real crowds, the atmosphere was electric everywhere this weekend. A couple teams were just a little disappointing in their first games (LSU, Oklahoma and Clemson if you're curious). Malik Willis For Heisman, call me biased, I don't care. LAG just got a lot better, at least on paper. Vanguard has a few things I like but a few more things I don't. OpTic and Faze did a merch collab and that SOMEHOW wasn't the most shocking game thing in the gaming world last week. Tim and Lupo are on YouTube now too, and esportsa/gaming hell has frozen over.

If you thought the CDL off-season was insane LAST WEEK, this was even more insane. 100Thieves win their first ever LCS Championship after two DOMINANT series wins. College football is finally back, for real this time. The HCS announced their first nine partnered teams and it's another very good step for the return of Halo esports.

Atlanta Faze are CDL Champions and I hate that. RosterMania 2021-22 begins with Surge dropping their entire team and Octane FINALLY calling them out. More Vanguard details come out during Champs and the new multiplayer mode Alpha is THIS WEEKEND. Riot reportedly moved Worlds out of China to Europe and fans literally everywhere else rejoiced. EU and NA's reps have been determined, this weekend is just about seeding and bragging rights.
