As Christians, we often hear the name Jehovah-Jireh mentioned in songs and sermons. But do we truly understand the significance of this name and what it means for our lives? In this Bible study, we will dive into the meaning of Jehovah-Jireh, how it relates to us as believers, and how Jesus is the ultimate fulfilment of this name.
Jehovah-Jireh is a Hebrew name that means "The Lord Will Provide." This name is first mentioned in the Old Testament in Genesis 22:14, where Abraham names the place where he is about to sacrifice Isaac "Jehovah-Jireh." In this story, Abraham was obedient to God's command to sacrifice his son, but at the last moment, God provided a ram for the sacrifice. This demonstrated God's provision and faithfulness to Abraham.

The Lord Jesus Christ is alive and well today, and able to do all things. All power is given Him, and through His name we are forgiven, and through the shedding of His blood our sins are remitted, and that His Word stands as true today as it did 2000 years ago. Repentance of one's sins, water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and being baptized with the Holy Ghost is His divine specific plan of salvation. Rev.
