Dr. Carmody went to medical school at the University of Virginia, residency training at The Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, and then returned to UVA for a fellowship in pediatric nephrology. He now works at CHKD and teaches at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Check out his YouTube channel and blog, called The Sheriff of Sodium, where he discusses a variety of topics related to the current medical education system. In his spare time, Dr. Carmody enjoys writing, running, and spending time with his son and family.
