Why reinvent the wheel when it comes to dating? The animal kingdom is chock full of tricks on how to attract a mate, and we figured in the competitive world of dating - maybe there’s a thing or two we could learn from it. In this episode we talk to evolutionary psychologist Dr Ian Stephen from Macquarie University in Sydney Australia, and Dr Cedric Tan who has studied the sexual dynamics of various animals at Oxford University. They will be helping us find out how some of these strategies - as weird as they are - might help us understand a little more about what motivates us when choosing from the human dating pool, and in the process, we also hope to pick up some tips on how to game the system.
