If you want actionable insights from a brilliant, accomplished, beautiful woman, this will be your favorite Mating Grounds interview so far. Isabel Behncke is a Primatologist at Oxford University. She begins by explaining her research with bonobos and lays out exactly what this means for guys: basically, she says to "feed the woman." Trust me, it'll make perfect sense the way she explains it. Isabel also tells you how to be vulnerable (which is very attractive) without coming off as needy (which girls don't like), what to do when you're taking a girl to dinner, and exactly how to correct the most common mistakes she sees guys making all the time.

Most guys come off as awkward and creepy to girls, and they don't even realize they are doing it, or how to stop. This episode describes what initial social interactions are like from a woman's perspective, specifically details how guys go wrong in these interactions, describes the quick and easy things guys can do to solve this problem, and ultimately be more confident and effective in approaching women. Tucker also outlines the fundamental shift in mindset that led to a dramatic increase in his success with women (as well as making his life much more fun at the same time).
In this episode Tucker interviews John Durant, author of The Paleo Manifesto. John openly and honestly talks about his failings with women, and goes through the steps he took to become more confident and charismatic (with the help of paleo principles). John and Tucker also talk about the big problems that hold a lot of guys back, and how to fix them, as well as how to meet women in a big city like New York.
In this episode Tucker and Dr. Miller go through the different ways that women evaluate men: size, body shape, clothing, jewelry, smell and initial contact, and help guys understand what they are doing wrong, and how to fix it.
Tucker and Dr. Miller examine what dating is really like for women, by discussing a thought-provoking hypothetical for guys, Tucker's experience in a gay bar, the varying consequences to sex for men and women, how men and women react differently in certain mating scenarios, and what it's like to be an attractive woman who gets hit on constantly.
Tucker and Dr. Miller talk about the evolutionary psychology behind what women find attractive, i.e., why women pick the traits they pick. Dr. Miller explains what sexual selection is and how it impacts female mating choices, the dating issues of a 17-year old hunter gatherer, and intra-gender competition.
In their first full-length episode, Tucker and Dr. Miller discuss the traits that women find attractive in men, the preferences that vary between women (and why), and the reasons that both men and women often don't give good advice to other men.
In the introductory podcast with both Tucker Max and Dr. Geoffrey Miller, they talk about their goals with the Mating Grounds Podcast, and the upcoming book, Mate. Tucker and Dr. Miller also discuss what they plan to teach guys, and how the Mating Grounds is different than the advice that guys get from other sources.
Dr. Carin Bondar is a biologist with a PhD from the University of British Columbia. She's also the presenter of Brave New World With Stephen Hawking on Discovery World, Outrageous Acts of Science on Science Channel and Daily Planet on Discovery Canada.
In this episode Dr. Bondar and Tucker discuss the relationship between animal mating behavior and human mating behavior, why being honest and up-front works with women and the difference between confidence and arrogance.
Dr. Catherine Salmon is a Professor of Psychology at University of Redlands. In this episode Tucker and Dr. Salmon discuss the differences between male and female pornography, how romance novels represent and portray female sexual preferences, how men and women express their sexuality, the line between treating a girl like a princess and being a doormat, and how guys can develop social currency and status.
Dr. Salmon's research focuses on evolutionary psychology, particularly how it relates to female sexuality, pornography, and birth order of children.
