  • I Found Out My Favorite Halloween Memory Was Fake | Oct 28th 2026 | EP 8

Matt shows up dressed as a mime, Jesse barely tries with his Halloween costume, and somehow things only get weirder from there.

Matt tells the story of taking mushrooms at a Halloween party, getting surrounded by people dressed as bananas, then having to survive a Penn State whiteout game the next day.

They get into haunted houses, costumes, why trick or treating used to be better, weird Halloween personalities, Fred Durst, Chick fil A feeling like Get Out, and the greatest Halloween memory Matt ever had.

At least he thought it was.

Matt spent years believing he won Nickelodeon Nick or Treats as a kid, only for his mom to finally tell him that the whole thing was fake and a guy named Frank from bingo called the house pretending to be Nickelodeon.

    Then we get to football.

The Steelers are officially one and oh in France, Zach Frazier was bullying people, DK Metcalf keeps proving how valuable he is even without the ball, and Matt wants the NFL to stop being boring with uniforms.

Matt also gets into the new Kordell Stewart documentary and why Kordell was the player who made him fall in love with the Steelers.

    Then it is Cleveland.

The Browns are somehow five and two, the AFC North is getting crowded, and Matt thinks this is the week the Steelers need to remind Cleveland exactly where they stand.

  • I Almost Got a Palm Tree Tattoo in Florida | Oct 21st 2026 | EP 7

Matt went to Florida, almost got a palm tree tattoo, threw his back out taking a shit, and somehow that is still only the beginning of this episode.

Matt and Jesse get into celebrity boxing, airport drinking, OnlyFans, the weirdest DM Matt has ever received, and the guy who wanted to buy and "worship" his shoes.

Then we finally remember this is a sports show.

Antonio Brown's Hall of Fame case turns into a bigger conversation about whether personal bullshit should matter when judging what somebody did on the field, why football felt different twenty years ago, and whether everybody being their own brand has made sports worse.

Matt also gets into his weekend doing stand up in Tampa, why every comedian is chasing clips now, Jay Z potentially putting himself on the biggest stage possible, and why fame means a whole lot less than people think it does.

    Then it's Steelers time.

Matt breaks down the win over Tampa, what he liked from DK Metcalf, Jalen Ramsey and Jeremy Bernard, what drove him absolutely insane late in the game, and why this Saints game in Paris might be a lot tougher than the records make it look.

Steelers win. We eat baguettes. Simple.

  • I Lost 150 Followers for Defending Shane Gillis | Oct 14th 2026 | EP 6

Matt lost about 150 followers in two days because he defended a Shane Gillis joke, so naturally that's where we start.

Matt and Jesse get into why everybody seems desperate to be offended, what people completely miss about comedy, why hecklers are the worst, crowd work taking over stand up, and the time Matt's mom literally tackled somebody in the middle of his show.

Then Jesse casually reminds everybody that he has a baby on the way. We get into becoming a dad, how he met his girlfriend, why he basically hates talking to people, their ideal night together, and an impression of Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys that apparently Matt had no idea Jesse could do.

There's also custom NFL cleats, why athletes should be allowed to show more personality, Jalen Warren finally getting the ball, Aaron Rodgers looking great, and whether the Steelers can keep it going against Tampa Bay.

Then, because this show never stays on one topic for very long, we somehow end up talking about Trump, The Rock running for president, bunkers, Antarctica, the end of civilization, moving to Mars, ayahuasca with Aaron Rodgers and doing coke with Mike Tyson.

  • I Might Be Done With Stand Up | Oct 7th 2026 | EP 5

Matt and Jesse start with custom NFL cleats and somehow end up trying to fix professional sports entirely.

Why can't players talk shit anymore? Why does everything have to be so polished? Why are AI comedians stealing jokes? Why does nothing feel like it's built to last anymore? And if you catch a foul ball next to a five year old, do you actually have to give it to them?

Then things get a little more real.

Matt completely changes his perspective on Joey Porter Jr. leaving Pittsburgh, gets into player podcasts, Cam Heyward, Pat McAfee, Kill Tony, what people think stand up comedy actually is, and why watching other comedians explode overnight can make nineteen years in comedy feel pretty brutal.

For the first time, Matt admits this could be his last year doing stand up full time.

Then, because apparently we still have a football show, Matt and Jesse try to figure out what the Steelers actually are, whether this organization has been living off nostalgia for too long, and why the Colts game needs to look different.

  • Social Media Is a Disease and People Suck | Sep 30th 2026 | EP 4

Matt hasn't slept, Jesse was dropping off cleats at four in the morning, and somehow that's not even where things start going off the rails.

Matt talks about taking mushrooms at a magic show and Four Chord, trying to have conversations with people while tripping, and why sometimes he just wants people to leave him the fuck alone.

    Then the gloves come off.

Social media, Pittsburgh influencers, fake relationships, brand deals, content creators, awards nobody cares about, people stealing ideas, and why Matt is completely done pretending to like everybody.

Eventually we remember this is also a sports show.

Matt takes his victory lap after calling the Steelers Bengals game, gets into what finally worked with the offense, why the Browns game will tell us a lot about this new Steelers team, Jalen Warren, DK Metcalf, Aaron Rodgers, and whether Pittsburgh can start stacking wins.

And if you watched the first forty five minutes and thought Matt was talking about you, he probably was.

  • Everybody Hates the Steelers with Michael Turner | Sep 23th 2026 | EP 3

Matt went all the way to Boston just to watch the Steelers get smoked, and somehow the Patriots fans were the nice part of the trip.

Then comedian and Bengals diehard Michael Turner enters enemy territory.

Michael gets into growing up a Bengals fan, taking his comedy on the road with football, why Cincinnati will always hate Pittsburgh, and what it is actually like walking into an opposing stadium wearing the wrong jersey. Matt and Michael compare AFC North cities, tailgates, fan bases, food, fights, and why Bills fans might be doing football better than everybody.

Eventually the conversation gets completely off the rails with the Damar Hamlin game, insane sports hypotheticals, conspiracies, Michael getting the villain edit on TV, bombing as a comedian, and of course a Steelers Bengals prediction before Sunday.

Enemy for seventy six minutes. Friend after that. Maybe.

  • I Went to Turkey to Get My Hair Back | Sep 17th 2026 | EP 2

Matt finally tells Jesse what actually happened when he flew to Turkey for a hair transplant, including waking up to somebody calling him Joseph and realizing every bald dude on the plane was probably there for the exact same reason.

Then it's football. The Steelers are 1 and 0, TJ Watt looks very much not washed, Jesse's custom cleats are already making plays, and Matt is feeling a lot better about this team after watching the game again.

Somehow that turns into Steelers tailgates, Matt's top blackout bars in Pittsburgh, what happened to the South Side, whether Babe Ruth could play today, the Chargers curse, Arch Manning potentially telling Cleveland to go fuck themselves, Joey Porter Jr., Matt admitting he might have been a Ravens fan in another life, and finally his weekly reminder that he absolutely hates the New England Patriots.

  • The Steelers Are Going to the Super Bowl. I Said What I Said. | Sep 9th 2026 | EP 1

Welcome to episode one. We had a plan. Kind of.

Matt Light and Jesse Woods get into why the Steelers actually have a shot this year, Aaron Rodgers, Mike McCarthy, Drew Allar, Mason Rudolph, NFL gambling, and why Matt is already sending Pittsburgh to the Super Bowl.

Then we give the Pirates about one percent of the show, which feels fair, make the case for bringing Andrew McCutchen back, get into the fake NFL player Daejon Love, and somehow end up debating autographs, signed jerseys, and how weird sports fandom gets when you really think about it.

Football is back. The Steelers are going to the Super Bowl. We're off to a completely reasonable start.
