Sometimes in choosing friends and relationships, we can make decisions that are not healthy for us; and if truth be told and we are honest with ourselves, those friendships and relationships can drain you, almost, dry to the bone. LISTEN to the end. It will bless you.  Now enjoy!!!

You may not really realize it, but, there is power in your tongue. The tongue can be used as a weapon to harm and destroy, or a tool to build and heal. Your words have impact. Your words can cause a forcible collision to come into your life. Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Open your hearts, listen, and be blessed.

The Lord is pouring an overflow on the church. Who is the church? The BELIEVER is the church. Are you prepared to ride the wave? Ride it out to the end.

During these two years plus of the Corona Virus and all of its variants, the racial unrest, the political divide that has literally pitted our nation against itself; and so many other issues that we must deal with every day, it has caused the faith of some to grow and to trust God in spite of what is going on around them. Yet, there are some who have found themselves weakened in their faith, and weakened in their confidence and fellowship with God. It is not because they have lost their belief in God, that’s not it, nor have lost their desire to be a part of his kingdom, not at all. But they have the feeling of somehow being abandoned and left alone to carry a load that is just too heavy. That is truth! LISTEN and be encouraged.

You may have never experienced prayer before in your life, and you just don’t know what to say. It’s not hard. Talk to God like you would talk to your best friend. You spill your heart to your best friend. You trust them to keep what you are saying in confidence. They will not be able to help you in every situation, but God can.

You may feel, sometimes, that God is not listening to you when you pray. But I tell you, that not only is he listening, but his eyes are on you. He knows right where you are in life. He’s listening to every word that you speak, not just from your lips, but the words from your heart. Yes, God hears the words of your heart. He desires to be strong in you and to grant you those things that you ask him to do with a truthful heart. Listen and enjoy!

Isn’t it something that even in the times of hardships, difficulties and uncertainties, that God, while we are going through, while things don’t look so good and prosperous, is YET breathing on us a refreshing assurance that his promises stand sure in our lives. God is sending showers of blessing upon us. Listen and enjoy.

Let me say this to you my listening friend. Being a child of God does not exempt us from trouble. It won’t stop it from coming. But the comfort is in this. We are not in it alone! The Lord is with us.
