  • Everybody Loves Raymond
Episode #144 of the Max Level Podcast. On today's show, we don't really have any new games to talk about, so to keep us from repeating the same thing over and over again, we'll explore what else we've been up to over the past week in place of campaign games, including our thoughts on the state of professional wrestling amidst the Coronavirus Pandemic. From there, an interesting thing has been happening in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, specifically within the community itself. If you're unaware, you're not going to believe this. Plus, hear about the virtual NFL Draft, states starting to come off lockdown soon, Kyle bought some plane tickets and had a scare with his PS4, and 9 Years of Shadows on Kickstarter.Timestamps and Segments for today’s episode include:

  • Screaming Eagle
Episode #143 of the Max Level Podcast. On today's show, we're still neck-deep in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. However, because today just so happens to be 4/20, I'll also be discussing one of my favorite puzzle games in recent memory from a year or so ago, Tetris Effect. From there, we've got a really heartfelt discussion inspired by today's date, even if it is presented in a somewhat humorous light with jokes sprinkled in. Stick around for this one. It should be good. Plus, hear about our favorite people we follow on Twitter, wrestler's we'd like to see featured in beat-em-up games, having a small fuse, and Sword of the Necromancer on Kickstarter.Timestamps and Segments for today’s episode include:

  • Righteous Glory, Brother
Episode #142 of the Max Level Podcast. On today's show, the crew can't believe that Final Fantasy VII Remake is real and it's here. We'll go in-depth with it before passing the baton to Dan for some thoughts finally on Call of Duty: Warzone. From there, Sony casually announced last week that the PlayStation 5 controller would be known as the DualSense, and it looks pretty different from what we're used to. We'll break down what we know so far about the controller, including thoughts on the choices made so far, and what might still need some work. Plus, hear about acts of kindness in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, what game we'd like to see Square Enix give the FF7R treatment to, our favorite controllers of all time, watching Broadway Musicals on YouTube during Quaranteaster 2020, and Commander '85 on Kickstarter.Timestamps and Segments for today’s episode include:

  • No Episode This Week (3/23/2020)
Unfortunately, we have some bad news this week. The guys were unable to find a time that worked best for everyone, and rather than skimping on an episode or putting out something that isn't up to our best quality, we decided to hold off for a week and come back next week with a rare super-sized episode of the Max Level Podcast! Please listen to the brief audio explanation from Bryan, which will go more in-depth on how we're doing as of this weekend, and what we plan to discuss next week on the episode! We really, truly apologize for not being able to provide an episode this week for your listening pleasure, and we look forward to being back in your ears next week!
**UPDATE** Sean did indeed get back to us, and his picks for the Metacritic Guessing Game are as follows: Half-Life Alyx = 75 / Bleeding Edge = 79
