On this week's Mayor on Air, Mayor Shane Pitt let us know that the council will contact Tas Water about upgrading infrastructure in Zeehan on the back of yesterday's Mains Failure. He also announced the Council's intention to work with the State Government about alternative bus transport following the announcement of the current bus service from Zeehan to Mountain Heights School was paused. Both of these issues will be discussed at the next council meeting as well.

In the Mayor on Air this week, Mayor Pitt discussed what was brought up and the Council meeting last week and also reminded us that the old police building in Strahan was up for tender and he was pleased to announce that some expressions of interest have been received by the council.
