We’ve been examining the beatitudes for the past few days, and on this broadcast we’ll note that the meek will be blessed and they will inherit the earth. Human nature tells us that meekness is a sign of weakness. Nothing could be further from the truth, and the life of Jesus is a perfect example. Maybe the problem is that we don’t understand the definition of meekness.
