In this episode, we mark the midpoint of 2017 and discuss what our favorite games have been thus far. Thomas counts down his Top 5 Games that he’s played during the first half of the year.
This episode marks the first time we have not one, but TWO guests.
Our first guest this week is Albert Ross, one of the people from Carolina Tabletop Games, a Friendly (or in this case, Family) Local Game Store in our local area. We discuss the ins and outs and ups and downs of starting and operating a FLGS and how they brought the sense of family into the gaming community. Does your FLGS have a atmosphere so welcoming that you feel like Norm or Cliff at Cheers when you walk in? Albert talks about how their store accomplishes just that.
Our second interview is with Joshua Bridgman of Nightshade Creations that has a project currently on Kickstarter called The Gaming Vault. Joshua talks about what sparked the idea for this unique gaming (storage and station) container for any GM or DM wanting to add some bling to their RPG sessions.
If you have any ideas for topics to be discussed or things to include in the show, please follow and reach out to us at any of our social media sites. Links can be found on the Social Media page of our website.
If you are a game designer / creator and would like to get the word out about your game or Kickstarter, contact me via the Contact Us page.
Thanks, and Game On!
