This week Candice Benbow and I delve into the workings of whiteness by black bodies by examining Kamala Harris’ presidential run and the Jussie Smollett case. Come for the intellect, stay for the laughs!

I got the opportunity to sit down with Atlanta business owner Marcus Labon. We talk about his rough childhood and bad decisions which led him to serve 3 years in prison. But that’s not how the story ends! He was able to overcome adversity by making it to Hollywood on American Idol and moving into entrepreneurial endeavors with his cleaning service #RichesLuxCleaning. Enjoy! Check out the site for more info www.melaninjay.com.
