A special one-shot set in the Ronin-verse!

After the Last Ronin defeated Oroku Hiroto, Master of the Foot Clan, New York City was free for the first time in more than a decade. But along with the newfound freedom comes a dangerous power vacuum waiting to be filled, and without a common enemy in the Foot Clan, various factions are vying to take control. Longtime resistance leader April O'Neil finds herself and her loved ones-including four small mutant turtles she and her daughter, Casey Marie Jones, are raising and training together-once again caught up in the battle for the soul of the city.

When April takes the young mutant turtles with her on a supply run into the city, they become lost and must find their way back to the sewer lair or risk becoming collateral damage in the newest power struggle overtaking the streets. Old memories mix with new realities as April and her four small charges race to get back home before it's too late.

…Writers Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz, alongside artists Ben Bishop (TMNT: The Last Ronin) and SL Gallant (G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero), conclude this tantalizing tale of the beginnings of the Last Ronin. But this is just the beginning of an all-new adventure. Don’t miss it! In the past: A wake of death and destruction stretches behind Michelangelo, trailing across years and continents, but at long last, fate has brought him face-to-face with the one who stands between him and vengeance: the one called DEATH WORM. Meanwhile, in the present (a.k.a. our future!): Chaos has taken hold of New York City, forcing Casey Marie Jones and her young Turtle pupils to make a choice: stand and fight or watch the world burn…Writers Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz, alongside artists Ben Bishop (TMNT: The Last Ronin) and SL Gallant (G.I. In the past: Michelangelo’s journey toward vengeance takes a detour when he’s captured, imprisoned, and forced to take part in a gladiatorial competition with fighters from all over the world. Though new friendships are formed with would-be foes, one thing is certain: the only way to attain his freedom is to fight. It will take all Michelangelo’s skill to defeat those who stand between him and vengeance.Meanwhile, in the present (a.k.a. our future!): Casey Marie Jones and her young Turtle pupils grapple with the lessons left by their late sensei Michelangelo as the situation in NYC worsensWriters: Kevin Eastman & Tom Waltz Then: Pencils SL Gallant •Inks Maria Keane Now: Pencils & Inks Ben Bishop Splinter's Journal Kevin Eastman Colorist Luis Antonio Delgado • Letterer Shawn Lee Editorial Assistant Nicolas Niño • Associate Editor Thea Cheuk Editor Charles Beachum Description From Amazon. THE TALE OF THE LAST RONIN’S FIRST MISSION CONTINUES! In the past: Michelangelo’s quest for vengeance takes him further westward… And the fighting forms he’s mastered thus far will prove invaluable as he faces yet another adversary. Nothing will stand in the way of his quest to return to New York City and avenge his family for the fates suffered at the hands of the Foot Clan—except maybe the chiding voices of his dead brothers. Meanwhile, in the present (a.k.a. our future!), Casey Marie Jones does her best to rear the next generation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as both their master and surrogate mother…and she’s finding she’s not sure which undertaking is more difficult!
