Our 2nd season, we discuss Far Country. The good, the bad, and why it's not the worst BattleTech book.
We gush over the Kickstarter (wave 1), plus Adam has some issues with the new fiction.
In this episode, we discuss the lack of support, or lack of format for supporting new players. Also, why presenting BattleTech as a wargame (like Warhammer 40k) is a bad idea. Yeah, Adam and I have ideas on how it could be improved... here's hoping that the Kickstarter is just the beginning.
Adam and I discuss probably the most important book of the BattleTech franchise, Technical Readout 3025.
Adam and I discuss how technology is different from planet to planet... or at least how it was during the Succession Wars. The new stuff moves away from this and it's a shame, honestly. We also talk about the wood hex base project I came up with and have been working on.
Adam and I talk about the tornado that blew through our neighborhood, a cat I adopted from him, and discuss painting and collecting.
We're back! New method here... we used Skype since we can't hang out. We dive into some more Clan stuff!
We did it! Stay with us, you can still hear my furnace in the background... we're working on a better mic and getting a better room to record. Also, Adam said Robotech a couple times instead of Macross, just to ease some confusion.
A topic long overdue... Adam and I talk about the old art, how "nostalgia" is being thrown around a little too much, and how plastic miniatures suck.
