This month's lesson is all about giving students the tools they need for career options. We will spend this time going over how to turn passions into careers and then taking a career survey.

Student Voice is a new segment of The Mentor Minute, where just like the title says we will hear our students voices. This segment will range all kinds of topics and will just be a fun take on what our students have to offer. So sit back and enjoy the first episode of the Student Voices.

Our country has been through an interesting few months, from politics to music beef so much is being thrown at our teens. Our whole goal is to give our teens then tools they need to find their voice and to make sure they are heard.

This months session is titled "I Can" Careers, and you guessed it, we are learning all about what careers are the best fit for our students and what types of jobs they might need to consider based on the life style they want to live after high school. “

This months email is all about finding your voice. Finding your voice is all about Being Authentic, Speaking up & Looking up, Being clear about your message, values and listening to others. WE all have a voice it's up to you to find it and how to use it.
