Hello friends, welcome to The Merch Desk! A monthly voice memo direct to your inbox(!), where I chat about what I'm working on/getting up to behind the scenes in the current month.

In this welcome episode, I'm giving you a backstory of why I created The Merch Desk, what to expect and how you can get involved.

Just like we're chatting at merch at the end of a show, my hope is that these conversational voice memos will bring paid subscribers a little closer to my journey and creative process as an artist, as well as provide an extra layer of exclusivity and connection that I’ve wanted to create on Substack from the get-go. It’s *almost* a podcast, but much more human/unfiltered and natural (hey, if Substack want to call it a podcast, they can call it a podcast 💁🏻‍♀️). My vision is that The Merch Desk will form an anchor to Behind the Scenes, giving paid subscribers extra context to all of the creative, juicy content I share on Substack. Much like a traditional podcast, each new voice memo will be listed as an ‘episode’ that can be listened back to at any point. Also, as this is linked to Behind the Scenes, The Merch Desk is exclusive to paying subscribers only.

I’m very excited to share this new addition to my Substack with you. Part of me has always wanted to do a podcast; I guess this is just my version of one! Whether you choose to join or not, there is absolutely zero pressure. I’m very grateful you choose to be here and support what I do in whichever way feels good to you!
