Emelia is a native of Ghana. Her brother served onboard our hospital ship in 2008. And eight years later, she joined the ship in Madagascar and serves in the galley. 

Tamar Manasseh grew up in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. In June 2015 a woman was killed at the corner of 75th and South Stewart Avenue. 

A volunteer nurse onboard our hospital ship came up with her definition of success. 

Sam Rayburn served for more than 48 years in the United States House of Representatives, including 17 years as Speaker. Despite his busy schedule, he always had time for friends.

Fadimatou had looked different from her friends for 13 years. Her cleft lip had taken its toll on her confidence and self-esteem.
