Ed Robinson of Niles, Indiana, had been diabetic for many years.  He had a stroke in 2005.  The stroke combined with the diabetes negatively impacted his kidneys, and he went into renal failure.

Mercy Ships volunteer Mirjam first saw little Siara at a patient screening in the Congo.  The one-year-old baby weighed just 7 pounds and had a cleft lip and palate.

A man was installing large stone steps in his backyard.  His five-year-old daughter begged to help.  He suggested that she sing a song to encourage him.  She said, “No.  I want to HELP!”
