The children of our volunteer crew contribute so much joy to ship life.  

Mabouba came on board our hospital ship with a deadly tumor on her face. Years of struggling to eat left her weak, and her family worried if she would even survive.

Beth Kirchner came to the Africa Mercy to teach Kindergarten. She taught all the usual subjects.
