It takes a lot of courage to be free...to come out...and to stay out. Participating in many platforms, I have discovered that there are SO many people who are itching to be themselves. Yes, it is a risk...not apologizing for being your authentic self.ย
Years ago, I was afraid...OK, let's just be real...I was ashamed to be. I didn't want judgement...and I sure didn't want someone dropping an Old or New Testament Bible verse on me. Bible-beating me "straight". I know what the Bible says. It also says that...well, you read it: John 3:16-17. Oh, wait...here's another one...Romans 10:4...wait, here's another one...James 2:8-13...my point is, I live under the Law of Grace (Romans 6:14). Yes...yes, grace. That free gift that God gave us...yes, that one. Ephesians 2:8-9ย
Let's be clear, I am no longer a sinner but a sinner saved by....grace. When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, that cancelled out my past, present, and future sin (separation from God). The Bible says that NOTHING in all creation shall separate me from His love. The ONLY unforgiveable sin is to deny Jesus. That's it. NO, don't sin that grace my abound. We are born in it. It's our nature. But, still, don't do it because you know you're forgiven once you repent. I can pick and choose any scripture but at the end of the day, it's about the GREATEST Commandment: LOVE Matthew 22:37-40
