I discuss some of the lessons I learned while attending Rood's Passover Celebration in Charlotte North Carolina.

Mordecai's mourning in sackcloth and ashes (Esther 4) is an example of the level of contrition and mourning we must have in relation to our redemption and personal relationship with Yahovah and in our walk with Messiah.

The Passover Celebration in Charlotte NC comes in the midst of an Adar Bet--a 13th month. There are reasons for this that primarily centered upon modern day commerce and logistical considerations. Despite these concerns, the Rood Passover Celebration shows us that we can and should celebrate or observe Passover. I discuss the reasons why.

In the 3rd Chapter of Esther we are introduced to Haman--one of the most powerful princes in King Achashverosh's kingdom. When Mordecai, Esther's guardian and cousin, failed to show Haman the homage befitting of a man of Haman's stature in the kingdom, Haman developed a plot to exterminate every Jew in the known world. Haman's bitterness towards Mordecai and his plot against every living Jew, foreshadowed for us the spirit of anti-Christ that has existed throughout time and even today. 

The Festival of Purim, although not one of the 7-mandated Feast of the Lord, has tremendous spiritual applications that the discerning believer in Y'shua Messiah should seriously consider
