In this episode of Sabbath Thoughts and Reflections, we examine Ephesians 2: 8, 9. Here Shaul teaches that we are saved by grace, through faith, not by works. Christianity teaches that Torah observance by believers in Jesus Christ is unnecessary and even detrimental to a believer's spiritual life. Does the doctrine of grace nullify the viability and necessity for believers to honor and obey all applicable areas of Torah? Or is the doctrine of "sola gratia" the only game in town?

We were commanded in Deuteronomy 13:5 to listen to what God says. But after we rejected hearing from God directly and God's anointed leaders throughout the centuries left us, we are left with few options of truly listiening to what the Father has to say to us. How do we, living in the 21st century, listen to what God says? We discuss. Come, let us reason together and be blessed by the Word of Yahovah. Shalom.

In this Torah Living Daily Challenge, the challenge posed to us by Father is to avoid or reject even an intellectual curiosity into the idolatrous ways of the pagan nations of Canaan. We were warned to not be taken by those whose prophectic utterances came true but whose teachings sought to sway us away from Torah. We were admonished to cling to the Father in the midst of a perverted and corrupt world. These are not easy tasks. Curiosity about the things of the world around can prove to be a snare. These tendencies must be resisted and we must cling to Father and His Torah. Failure to do so will result in our ultimate peril. 

Why did Father drill in our heads in anticipation of entering the land of promise--over and over--the idea of blessings to be had if we abided in His Torah and curses if we strayed from His Torah? I have some thoughts and relfections to share that may shed some light on this subject as well as a challenge to every believer in Y'shua Messiah.

Matthew 4 and Luke 4 record Satan's tempting of Y'shua (Jesus) in the wilderness and how Y'shua was able to overcome those temptations. This event provides the Torah observing believer in Y'shua Messiah with an example and prescription for defeating Satan and his temptations. I discuss this crucial issue along with some other thoughts and reflections on this Sabbath Day.

The Bride of Christ (Messiah) Part 2 is the second part of a two-part discussion between Hilary and Rod on the subject. Who or what is the Bride of Christ (Messiah)? This is the central question that demands an answer that most believers are not clear on. 

What did Shaul and John mean when they made reference to the bride of Christ? Were they referring to the Church Triumphant? Were they referring to individual born again Christians?
