How to Surrender Your Anxieties to God:

1. Pray about it.
2. Memorize or keep scripture accessible that relates to anxiety.
3. Surrender your anxiety at God’s feet.
4. Find a trusted person to talk to about your anxieties.
5. Journal your fears and worries.
6. Remove certain foods and caffeine if they affect your anxiety.

I do not know what anxieties you are dealing with, but I do know that the Lord will help you through it if you allow Him to. God can change anything in your life. Even if your anxiety feels too big for God to take away, I promise you it is not. God still does miracles. Trust that God will do a miracle in your own life and continue to reach out to Him. This is not a time to fall away from your faith.

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us so that our sins would be forgiven so we should offer grace and forgiveness to others. It is not easy to forgive, but we are all imperfect people and deserve forgiveness. Remember just because you forgive someone does not mean that you have to let them back in your life. You can still offer those who have hurt you forgiveness and still have boundaries.

Why should you forgive others?

1. God will forgive you when you forgive others.
2. It will release a weight off you.
3. It shows others the love that God has for us.
4. It could bring people back into your life.
5. It could change your life.

If a perfect God can forgive you then it is okay to forgive yourself. If you are struggling to forgive someone that has hurt, you or yourself then ask the Lord for guidance. He will help you on your path of forgiveness. Forgiving and letting go can help you to feel lighter and become the person the Lord wants you to be. It is not your burden to carry so let go forgive and let God handle it.

Join your host, Seirra, as she discusses the ways that God spoke to her through Joshua chapter one. Last week she was struggling due to many reasons, but one being someone told her that they believed Seirra was lukewarm in her faith. She began to question if this was true and that in turn made her question her calling and the ways that God was using her.

Main Take Aways:

1. Be strong and courageous, but if you do not have the strengthen to be use God’s strength. Things will not be done because of your power but because of the Lord’s.
2. Be bold! Do what God ask of you even when you are afraid.
3. God gave you your calling for a reason. Why would He ask you to do it if you are going to fail or if there was no purpose behind it? He wouldn’t! So, start taking the steps you need to in order to fulfill your calling.
4. Use the Bible to help strengthen your trust in the Lord.
5. Be ready to do what ever God is commanding you when He ask it of you.

Your calling will not always be easy. People may make you doubt your faith and your calling. Do not rely on what others say of you but remember God’s truth about you and your calling. There is a purpose behind what you are doing so do it!
