The MI6 Sports Network has announced that it’s main host and co-producer Callan McClurg will be stepping away from his hosting duties with the network effective January 14th and taking an indefinite hiatus due to scheduling conflicts as he fulfils sports announcing obligations over the next several months as more colleges and professional leagues continue playing or begin to start their seasons.

With the landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic ever changing and schedules being constantly reshuffled, McClurg remains fully committed to his roles with the MI6 SN, but says it’s time to catch his breath and to focus on his tasks at hand with the nature of an unprecedented 2020-2021 sports season.

McClurg has been nothing short of instrumental to the recent success and growth of the MI6 Sports Network since joining in July 2020. The 12 year sports announcer helped the network soar to new heights while taking over as the main host of four MI6 shows. He has brought an emphasis on engaging with the MI6 viewers live on air to go along with two new program schedules, viewer voted on bracket challenges, multi-hour specials and the creation of three new shows which includes two solo hosted shows and a late night recap show.

The final program that will be hosted by McClurg will be the January 13th edition of Wild Sports Talk. Fill-in hosts of Wild Sports Talk, NO B.S. and The Night Shift will be announced following the January 13th show. Despite bringing his solo show back, The Sports Lounge will also be put on hiatus as well following it’s January 12th episode.

Check into The Sports Lounge as the network’s main moderator Callan McClurg hosts his original multi-hour sports talk show covering all the bases of the sports world from the local level to the national level with appearances from fellow MI6 hosts and an array of guests.
