Miami goes into Death Valley, where Clemson has won 38 games in a row. The Canes are a 19.5-point underdog, so Vegas seems to think Miami has a snowball’s chance in Hades to win this game. But, I do not deal in realism but in hope and fantasy. Thus, I use my creative talents to fashion a path for a Hurricanes victory. Will it happen? Unlikely, but I’m still hoping

This is the game we all wait for each season! FSU enters Hard Rock stadium looking to win their second straight versus the Hurricanes. Miami may be a heavy underdog in this game, but Canes fans are ready to bring the noise on Saturday night! In this episode, I break down FSU, the keys to victory for Miami, and share some of my favorite memories from this rivalry. Bonus: I give a recipe for a cocktail (I do not condone anyone drinking and do not recommend trying this recipe as it’s only been shared as part of my game day experience, not to promote its use) that I love to make during these games.

This week I didn’t do my usual detailed breakdown of the upcoming opponent. Instead, I decided to cover some timely topics in the commitment of five-star CB Cormani McClain and talk about something Josh Pate brought up on his show this week concerning the Miami media. I also take time to discuss how these two things relate to the future of the Miami program and quickly go over the keys to victory against Virginia.

Raul sent in a voicemail where he colorfully expressed his displeasure with the Miami Hurricanes thus far this season. No one is safe from Raul's rant as he goes after MTSU, Duke, Mike Elko, Mario Cristobal, Josh Gattis, and Andy Garcia.

Like Frank “The Tank,” the Canes look to go streaking this week with a win over Duke. Following a mostly dominant victory against Virginia Tech, Miami turns its sights towards a surprisingly good Duke team which presents a unique challenge for the Hurricanes in the form of their dual threat QB Riley Leonard.

The Blue Devils come into Hard Rock Stadium with a 4-3 record overall and sit at 1-2 in the ACC Coastal. In this battle of first-year head coaches, it could be argued—quite successfully—that Mike Elko has made more progress with his team than Mario Cristobal has to this point.

So, can the Canes make it two wins in a row and push past the .500 mark on the season and in ACC play? Listen and find out!

Thanksgiving came early as the Canes dined on turkey this past Saturday. It wasn’t pretty and was stress-inducing late, but the Canes beat Virginia Tech 20-14 this past Saturday to end their 3-game losing streak. Miami overcame 17 penalties for 159 yards, rushed for only 107 yards (74 yards by the running backs), and multiple injuries to key players coming into the game, as well as some in-game, to get the victory. Net up for the Canes, the surprising Duke Blue Devils, at Hard Rock Stadium.
