The Miami Heat Classified Podcast

Welcome back Heat fans!

No Rozier or Jaquez today - but Jimmy returned with a nice 30 piece! He was able to get to the line, hit the offensive boards and take command of the game.
Miami finally won a 3rd quarter convincingly - and dominated the second half overall.
Who were the two bench players that helped turn the game around for Miami and appeared in the Dwyane Wade awards today? Listen to the podcast to find out!

Welcome back Heat fans!

Guess who we are playing......? It's the Indiana Pacers again, yes the same team we played 2 days ago. I hate playing the same team twice in a row - it doesn't feel like the playoffs, it just feels repetitive.
Unfortunately it wasn't the same result for the Heat, who were on the receiving end of bounce back games from Siakam and Turner today.
Tyler Herro turned up another huge 4th quarter performance, but with Jaquez going down with a sprained ankle - Miami were running out of shot creators.

Who gets in the best player awards, and how has Jovic's mask featured again in these awards........tune in to find out!

Welcome back Heat fans!

Game #2 of the NBA Cup for Miami, and this was a fun one! Bam finally got himself going offensively and was in complete control of this game through the second half.
Kevin Love started again and ran with the opportunity by scoring 15pts in the 3rd Q alone......no that's not a typo! It really was 15.
But all jokes aside, Miami's biggest advantage came when they subbed in Batman off the bench.......who is Batman you ask.......well download today's episode to find out!

Welcome back Heat fans!

This was one crazy game. Herro absolutely dominated and had 18pts in the 4th quarter alone, including hitting 6/8 3PT range!
Just when you think he can't play any better - he hits a go ahead basket with 2 seconds remaining.....what could possibly go wrong hey?

A huge, uncharacteristic coaching blunder from Spo stops the game from going to a second overtime.
We break it all down on todays episode and hand out yet another few awards to the runaway Tyler Herro!

Welcome back Heat fans!

A win, who can remember what that feels like? This was a crazy game filled with turnovers, steals and poor shooting, but don't let deceive you, it was a heck of a close game!
Miami fans have been very critical of Spo online to start the season - and in todays game, he showed why he is one of the best coaches in the NBA. The final play of the game was drawn up perfectly, and included someone who was completely unexpected......tune in to today's episode as I break it all down!

Welcome back Heat fans!

Did the results from today's game bring back horrible memories from the 2023 NBA Finals? Jokic was absolutely dominant again and the Heat still had no answers. Jimmy Butler goes down with an ankle injury - what does this mean for the rotations going forward?
We break that all down on todays episode as well as celebrating Tyler Herro's 11 assists - a new career high!

Welcome back Heat fans

As DJ Khaled would say, Miami just lost "another one!"

Kevin Durant comes up huge down the stretch on his way to 32 points. Another missed opportunity for the Heart to get off a buzzer beater in the final few seconds, resulting in our 4th loss of the season.

Finally Jovic gets removed from the rotation in the 2nd half - something we have been very much waiting for! Highsmith replaced him, and had a great game....but was it good enough for him to crack the best player award?

Welcome back Heat fans!

What way to lose a game hey?!
30 secs to go, up 1 one, with possession....we should be in the drivers seat right? wrong!
Heaps to break down on todays episode, including the lack of scoring ability on this team - yet another game under 115 points! What went wrong in the third (aka turd) quarter again?
And most importantly, which player got into the best players for the first time today?

Welcome Back Heat fans!

Finally a big blowout win we can feel good about. Miami actually had a good 3rd Q for a change and Bam let it fly from downtown!
One player did foul out for Miami in only 20 mins of action.....is that the reason he didn't make it into the awards today?
And we have a new winner of the "Michael Beasley Award" for the first time...

Welcome back Heat fans!

I hope you don't listen to this podcast for nothing but positivity for the Heat - because i'm a realist, and its my job to keep you all informed with what happens each game, and today, it was not pretty again!
Im starting to get worried.....we are giving the ball to Tyler and Terry to shoot at will - and yet our offence is still a mess, we can't score with any potency. Why can't Bam get involved? Why can't Jimmy score against big wings? Are we closer to blowing it up rather than winning a championship - all these questions are answered in this very real episode of how the Heat are tracking this season!

But, on a positive note - Herro lit it up today.....so how many awards will he win on todays episode?
