Today is near and dear to my heart as we get a chance to speak to a couple of legislators from my own neck of the woods. We start off in hour one with Representative Kevin J. McCabe, my representative from Big Lake to discuss his thoughts on the "defective" budget and today's new special session. Then in hour two we dive into the State Senator Mike Shower hour of power to see if he really is 'greedy and entitled'.

Today we dive into the "Weekly Top 3" with the director of Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets and friend of the show Brad Keithley. Today we talk about the Budget, the ADN editorial board and revenues. Then in hour two we get our weekly PMA/Life coaching lesson from Chris Story on Top of the World.

We discuss what went down last week in the Senate, in their own words. We analyze the speeches on the floor.

Today we do our usual Friday roundup of gun headlines and take calls from around the country for Q&A. Then in hour two we stray from our usual Friday topic and talk with Governor Mike Dunleavy about the budget passed by the legislature and what he plans to do with it. We finish with our pal Willie Waffle.

Well, the votes are in. Budget is done and the PFD is now set at $525. After all the shaming and scolding is done, how do you feel? Senator Robb Myers come in on the first hour to discuss his perspective and why he voted against the budget. And then we'll be asking hard questions of Senate President Senator Peter Micciche as to why he supported a budget that didn't provide for the fullest dividend possible.

Well....the vote on the house side is in and the PFD will be just over $500 this year. We'll get the straight dope from Ben Carpenter on how the minority felt about the vote. Then in hour two we'll get our weekly one hour chat in with State Senator Mike Shower.

Today's a busy day, we start with Brad Keithley from Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets and the weekly "Top 3" then we'll get an early pick-me-up from Chris Story on Top of the World in hour two followed by a discussion on the new budget compromise from Governor Mike Dunleavy.

Today we can see the fingerprints of Bert Stedman all over this so called 'compromise' on the PFD and the budget that was released over the weekend. We'll go into details of what it means and what I think should happen with it. We'll also take calls from you to get your take as well.

Some big news out of California this week, but we won't get too excited about it yet. We'll cover other firearms headlines as well, and do some 2A Q&A where there's "no such thing as a dumb gun question". Then in hour two we get in a chat with Top Shot Chris Cheng about the RECOIL magazine cover controversy and the ruling out of California that declares their Assault Weapons Ban unconstitutional.
