Today we'll spend hour one going over the headlines from around the state. From the surprise of artificially rain on the Kenai to the rise of a democratic socialist on the US House ticket, we'll cover a bunch of stuff that makes me shake my head.

Then in hour two We'll chat with Rep Garrett Nelson about his candidacy and run for reelection in the State House.

Tuesday's deep dive is here with Brad Keithley from Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets. This weeks topics: Many candidates say they are concerned about middle-class "affordability." Most really aren't; The thing missing from the discussion about the Southcentral gas "crisis."; The consequences of being $40 trillion in debt.

In hour one we go over some of the emerging strategies that we're starting to see from politico's from around the state over the RCV scene for Governor and beyond. We'll also take some of your calls to see where you think things are going.

How screwed are we exactly? We'll we'll dive into the preliminary results of last night's primary and see where we go from here. We may open up the phones as well to see where your thoughts are.

It's the primary today and Brad Keithley from Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets has three big thoughts to go over with us in hour one. Time to face reality: There really are no "fiscally conservative" candidates in this year's election cycle; What happened to the AKLNG Special Session? Even the national numbers say the APFC's investment policy is losing the state money.

Then in hour two I'll recap with some of my own thoughts on Brad's points and then we'll finish up with Chris Story who'll come in and give us some pointers for uplifting ourselves with a weekly life coaching lesson.
