Today : From Cheers to tears…..there were shocks galore at the Meath CO Council  Count  yesterday as a number outgoing councillors lost their seats with Sinn Fein being the biggest losers.  We looked back on an eventful day  as we discussed the new look council and spoke to Ireland's  first black councillor Yemi  Adenuga. Kevin Callan who won two seats on Louth County Council spoke about what happens next and we heard from re-elected MEP Mairead McGuinness

Today, we had reaction and analysis from the Louth Local Elections where all 29 seats have been filled in a bruising dog fight which saw five outgoing councillors lose their seats and we came live from the Meath count where only 15 of the 40 seats so far had been filled. We looked at the European Elections both nationally and elsewhere and how things are looked in the Midlands North West Constituency.
