Hello world!
Every couple of months we are REBORN and this Spring season is no different.
Are our two hosts living on completely opposite sides of the world? Yes!
Was the last episode released approximately four months ago? Yes!
Do I adore and love this episode as much as every single one that exists in this cosy part of the podcast atmosphere? Fuck Yes!!
Joey my wonderful friend dove head first into the Micro-Wave tent and dropped some gorgeous little pearly wisdoms. Allow them to move through you. Joey is a softly spoken Yorkshireman who shares about Taoism, friendship, personalities, people, theories, ideas and utter nonsense. Enjoy the journey.
Jas is now based in the UK - you or someone you know in the area who you think would enjoy this quirky wee space? Get in touch at @micro_wave_feminism on instagram.
Like the podcast (and the crazy schedule of one episode every 6 months?? It's a very low commitment kind of anarchic relationship...) give us a rating on Spotify or a review on Apple pods!
Love and light
Jas and Tash
xx
This episode features a wholesome, nourishing, delightful and outright hilarious between Tash and her beautiful guest Claudia (she/her/ia, Ngāti Maniapoto, Tainui Waikato).
We don’t want to give too much away because this episode is truly a delight to hear yourself, but get prepared for some mana wāhine mythology, a wee te reo Māori lesson on (feminine coded) genitalia and pleasure, a kōrero around knowledge of whakapapa and connection to the natural world and one of our favourite quotes a guest has brought so far.
A wee warning this episode did experience some cosmic interference (the record button mysteriously turned off) yet nothing feels lost when it comes to the richness of this conversation.
Get yourself a cosy cuppa lovely one (cacao if you want to in on the vibe this kōrero is bringing you).
Welcome along!
A kōrero to nourish your soul, Jas and Ganeshji get intergenerational around feminism and how it interweaves through everyday interactions. From pendulum swings between privilege and prejudice, equality vs equity, to finding the place you feel most powerful, we hope this ep inspires you to grab that "older" friend, get honest and be the change together.
