Atlanta Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce joined Andy and Randy. Coach spoke about how he got involved with the march on Monday, supporting his players, wanting his players to be great men and how the expectation to make the playoffs next year.

Andy and Randy kick-off the show recapping yesterday's golf outing and talking about how much power athletes have right now. Also, they learned about the "snitch line" in the NBA bubble.

Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were joined by Atlanta Hawks Head Coach Lloyd Pierce who talked about how he got involved with the fight for social justice, speaking at the protest in Atlanta on Monday and how there is much more to being a head coach in the NBA than calling plays.

“It’s more than I think a lot of people realize. If someone wants to criticize my play calling or my rotations…If you have really good players and that’s where you are and they are at the peak of their career and they are bonded and they’ve been together for a long time, the criticism in those areas becomes different. For us, knowing that we have development and we are in a development stage, we have young players and they are very good players. They just happen to be young right now,” responded Coach Pierce when asked how much of his job deals with off the court issues.

“Trae Young is an unbelievable player. Deandre Hunter is an unbelievable player. They are going to be even better as the years start to come around and experience increases, I’m not worried about that. I do hope that I can contribute to them being unbelievable men, fathers, husbands eventually,” Coach Pierce continued.

92.9 The Game reporter Joe Patrick joined Andy and Randy and talked about where baseball goes from here and how his confidence MLB returning is wavering. Joe also talked about how big of an impact not playing would have on individual Brave players, specifically Austin Riley.

Andy Bunker and Harry Douglas (who was in for Randy McMichael) were joined by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s beat writer for the Atlanta Hawks, Sarah K. Spencer, who covered the march Head Coach Lloyd Pierce spoke at earlier this morning.

 “The vibe from what I observed was very peaceful but very passionate. It was definitely a very energetic vibe, a lot of young people…Pretty much everyone was wearing a mask. I’m just one person with one set of eyes but I only saw maybe one or two people without a mask pretty much the entire time,” said Spencer when asked about the vibe at today’s protest in Atlanta.
