With the College Football Championship rapidly approaching Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael looked ahead to the future of the LSU program and asked the question, does LSU extend Coach Orgeron after such a great season?

“No. I’d make him play one more year. We have seen this before. My prime example is Coach Chizik (Gene Chizik) down at Auburn. He inherits Cam Newton, Cam goes crazy and has an unbelievable bonkers year. Then you know what happened? Cam Newton left,” McMichael said.

“I think you almost have to. If they win the National Championship and finally do everything that, everyone wanted them to do. It feels like you have to. I am with you though. What if Joe Brady leaves? Bunker replied.

“How much does LSU regress after next year?” asked both.
