Rick and John debate the merits of the Braves making trades before the deadline at the end of July. They recap the Braves game experience from Tues. night and give thanks to all those involved. They debate if the Braves should trade away prospects or just dig in and go for it. Rick thinks they should trade away, but realizes he is not as invested in the farm team as the Braves are. John is willing to sit through 10 years of crap for a championship, so trade away. They are both worried about the starting rotation. They took a call who believes we can’t beat a team like Houston without more help.

Rick and John start the show off reflecting about the Entercom outing to Suntrust Park last night to watch the Braves, which was not a good night for them. Sanchez leaves the game in the 5th inning due to cramps and the Braves lose to the Reds 3-4. There was also a body found in a walk-in freezer at Suntrust Park. Rick and John debated on what should the Braves do, bundle prospects or keep assets. Jahi brings the sound for Read Between The Lines.

The voice of The Miami Hurricanes Football team, Joe Zagacki, joins the Midday Show to talk about The U. Of course, John Michaels, the resident Miami fan, was excited to talk to Joe. They spoke about a range of things from Miami's 10-0 start to their quarterback play. A player he thought that makes Malik Rosier better, is Ahmmon Richards. Joe thinks Richards needs to bring he same toughness he had before and he could very well be Miami's best player. He says that Rosier will be the starting QB on opening day. The offensive line also worries Joe because they will have new guards and new tackles and it is a cause for concern.

Knox Bardeen joined the Midday Show via phone because he had to "work from home" today. After Rick and Knox gushed about their great fantasy baseball game, they talked about Julio Jones. Rick and John wanted to know if Knox thought that Julio Jones, who was ranked at number four by NFL players, was overrated, underrated or is his ranking spot on. Knox thinks that Julio is ranked right where he should be. Rick argues his point that Julio Jones is overrated. After they bickered about Julio Jones, they moved on to the Braves. Knox does not agree that the Braves should trade the farm and get rid of some prospects for some bullpen help.

Rick and John keeps it local and goes Around The 404. Audio from the Hawks' newest additions, Coach Pierce, Young and Spellman, were heard. They also talked about the 5-4 Braves victory over the Reds last night that ended with extra innings and an Albies walk-off homer. During the NFL Bounce, Rick and John made their own NFL top 10 players and Julio Jones was left out of Rick's top 10 and came under scrutiny.

The Bicker Fest has started between Rick, John and Knox, who is working from home today. They bickered about Julio Jones and trading Braves prospects for some bullpen help. Rick and John go back to arguing if Julio Jones is overrated or not.

Joe Zagacki, the voice of Miami Football, joined Rick and John as they continue to go around the league in College Football. Rick and John also do a breakdown of the Braves. Neither stayed up to watch the end of the game because of the rain delay and extra innings but noticed that a change needs to be made. The Braves need to take some of the young prospects and get some help in the bullpen because this is a championship window for The Braves according to Rick and John. During College Football Cheat Sheet, the guys argue about the top 100 college players and there are no Dawgs in the top 10.

Rick and John start the show off by telling their frustrations. Rick was in traffic for two hours and John could not get his baseball tickets of the app. With their woes, they still let us know "What's Up." The top ten NFL players list came out with Julio Jones at number four. This sparked the conversation with the guys asking if Julio Jones being overrated, underrated, or spot on. Rick and John do not agree with each other.

Kevin Huerter, the Atlanta Hawks 19th pick, and Omari Spellman, the Hawks 30th pick, join Rick and John at the Hawks Emory Training Facility. Both young men decided not to go to the draft but chose to be surrounded by friends and family. A range of topics were brought up, like how well do Kevin and Omari know Atlanta. Neite=her know their city too well, but there is time to learn. Omari talks about losing fifty pounds and changing his body to be NBA ready. Kevin Huerter gave insight on why he three point percentage is so high but his free throw precentage is low.

Rick and John, during the last hour got a chance to talk to Kevin Huerter and Omari Spellman, the 19th and 30th pick of the Atlanta Hawks. They talked about what they are going to bring to Atlanta. Rick and John's Slice of Life today is the cure for a hangover in light of Mark Owens' birthday party.
