The Middlemen dissect the upcoming and most talked about boxing events, one of which being one of Britain's most exciting prospects in Conor Benn facing off against Samuel Vargas. The boys also recapped what went down before Easter between Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin and gave their take on who the winner should face next. British boxing took centre stage for the ninth episode as the Middlemen discuss a whole heap of exciting fights that are to come over the weekend. In this week's exclusive, experienced boxing coach Paul Mann gave insight about the fighters he is training and predicted how they would get on in their impending bouts. One of which, Kane Baker is rumbling on the rock as the undercard to the hotly anticipated rematch between Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin which the boys discussed at length. It is a busy weekend for British sport and to finish, the Middlemen took a look at the upcoming England fixtures and how well Gareth Southgate's side will do.

The boys this week were absolutely spoiled with major talking points from both the boxing and football world. Ricky Summers who is fighting for the English Light Heavyweight title next month also joins the podcast for an exclusive interview ahead of his showdown with Dan Azeez. More boxing from flyweight to heavyweight was covered by the Middlemen as they recap on a historic rematch between Juan Estrada and Roman Gonzalez as well as the huge confirmation of AJ V Fury. Of course the football was also discussed and Max could finally do it with a smile on his face as Liverpool got back to winning ways.

The Middlemen, this week, got an exclusive with the latter in Ijaz Ahmed who became the WBO & IBF European super flyweight champion in his last fight. Before discussing other accomplished boxers, The Middlemen did their weekly routine of perusing their supported football teams recent performances.  Noah's Chelsea had another flawless week while Max's Liverpool redeemed themselves with a competition win.

He gave his opinion on the shocking Gordon Elliot story after the boys covered what was the Middlemen derby in Liverpool V Chelsea. The Middlemen welcome their first football guest onto the podcast, 'Talking Irons' co-host and 'Green Street Hammers' writer Jack Hobbs. The trio talk about the successful season that West Ham have been enjoying, speculating on European football and what has been the fortunate change for the club. All of this came after some boxing talk from the British to World stage.
