Rappers and singers want beats that hit hard and have space for their vocals, but a lot of producers don't always get this right or might not know the best ways to achieve this.

The reason I ask is that many independent musicians don't know much (or anything at all) about their fans and customers because they're usually focused on their Spotify numbers or other vanity metrics that don't really matter much in the grand scheme of things.

Using social media as a music producer and entrepreneur is one of the best ways to build an audience in 2021.And because certain platforms like TikTok are great for organic reach (which means you don't have to rely on ads to get exposure)......you can grow a huge fanbase almost overnight - at least for now.

As a music producer and entrepreneur in 2021, there are tons of ways to get your beats and beat packs out to potential clients and customers, especially online. But, there are some methods of outreach and advertising that are more effective than others.

For me personally, Facebook and Instagram have been the most effective ways to get my products out to the right people. When I mention this to some producers, though, they're often shocked because of how hard it's been to advertise on Facebook and Instagram recently... So here's what I tell them...

A great way to do this is to get them on the phone and ask them questions.

I think a lot of people try to get in the music biz for the flexing, fame, and fortune, but that's not what makes full-time music producers, rappers, and singers actually happy.
