HAPPY OCTOBER WITCHES!

It's the most wonderful time of the year... for ghost and goblins, creeps and creatures, haunts and horrors. For the month of October--now to be called Spook-tober--The Midnight Memo will be diving into some dark and creepy topics.

First up, HAUNTED HOUSES!

But actually, no family looks exactly the same, and they shouldn't! On top of that, there is no "ideal" family model that we should be aiming for! Everyone has a different definition of what family is and how they want to model their family. So, let's take a step away from the "nuclear" family that was defined too long ago, and look to the future. 

In this week's episode of The Midnight Memo, Claire and Kristen talk about how they would define what family is. They talk about the family they grew up with and the families that they hope to form in the future. NOT A BIG SHOCKER, they want different things! But everyone does! So don't let societal pressures tell you what you want!

All jokes aside, we've all fallen victim to the negative loop of comparing ourselves to others and not feeling good enough, or that we don't belong. It's kinda the worst feeling. But don't feel be hard on yourself, because we feel it too! Everyone does, really. However, we've been told to gain confidence, you gotta fake it till you make it! Or something like that...

GUESS WHAT?! We have proof that purgatory is real... it's called the Airport.

I think most of us can agree that the airport can be a stressful place, especially when you come into contact with other disgruntled and weary travelers. And of course, the process of getting through security line doesn't help! If you've been selected for a "random security check" you know what we mean. Both Kristen and Claire have had their fair share of airport mishaps and frustrations that we think everyone who travels can relate to.
