In this episode, Colette points out that many squander their lives on frivolities that have no lasting value. She asks us to consider how we are using our time, our gifts, our talents, our resources, our riches. She invites us to consider living a meaningful life that is rich toward God and not make the same mistake as the rich man in the parable of the rich fool in Luke 12:13-21.

This episode is about an ordinary young man called Gideon that God calls to save his nation (Israel) from an oppressive nation (Midian). Gideon finds himself at a crossroad where he has to either let his fear paralyze him or trust God. His story will inspire and encourage you to face your own personal fears head on, so you can move forward as you face your own challenges.

Gideon's story can be found in The Bible, in the Old Testament, in the book of Judges chapters 6 through 8. In this episode, Colette gives an overview of Gideon's story by going over chapters 6 and 7 and then she shares what we learn from Gideon's story.
