GEORGE WASHINGTON

There were men that HATED George Washington.

He had a temper too and it was well documented.

Remember Horatio Gates?

Tensions between Gates and General George Washington grew immediately following Saratoga, after Gates informed Congress directly of his victory rather than informing his Commander-in-Chief first. Washington was further angered that Gates did not promptly return troops sent to help Gates during his campaign.

General Washington was also convinced that Gates played a role in the Conway Cabal in late 1777, which was a supposed plot to remove Washington from command and replace him with Gates. In November 1777, Gates became president of the Board of War, so he technically became Washington’s superior. Bickering continued between the two men as Gates drew up plans for an invasion of Canada without consulting Washington.

They are not won on TV.

They are won by going door to door.

TARIFFS AND TRADE

We should be offended by this modern assertion.

Someone from Canada, Alberta let’s say they say I see the Americans are selling maple syrup. They are using it on pancakes and making candy we have MORE Maple trees than they do and we can employ some people cheaper and we can actually make maple syrup for HALF of what they are making it there in America. Let’s go into their markets and sell ours!

This is the argument they use.

Just keep rinsing and repeating the argument.

The only way you can reverse it is the remedy the president is proposing.

I didn’t want to hear the IVF stuff but I’m not like you.

I won’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good!

Can you make these circumstances better without selling your soul?

In the absence of the American Cattle Association catching up, what do you do?

You can give a subsidy to Argentina, when WE catch back up, then you tariff theirs.

U.S. Secret Service agents and local authorities shot and killed an armed man who allegedly breached a secure perimeter at Mar-a-Lago and raised a gun at law enforcement officials in the early hours of Sunday, Feb. 22.

Authorities said he was carrying a shotgun and a fuel can. The president was in Washington during the incident and not at his property.

Man was identified as Austin Tucker Martin, 21, from North Carolina. Martin was reported missing within the last few days, Reuters reported.

SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL

They put this book back into print in 2010 and they wrote a small forward.

We got the books on Saturday and pulled my copy out and this will be my Lent reading.

I opened to the intro page….and well here we go.

They started talking about E.F. Schumacher in this forward.

They talked about his fascination with India, the intro concluded that he had a fascination of Buddhism.

Before writing Small is Beautiful, he did NOT become a Buddhist, he flirted with a few religions and then he went to a Latin Mass, then another one and then another one…then he converted to the Catholic Faith.

That is why he wrote SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL!

Why would you leave all that out of the forward?

That forward was written to make the reader think he was a Buddhist.

Joseph Pearce wrote Small is Still Beautiful after he became Catholic.

Had Schumacher not written Small is Beautiful, how would that have changed Pearce?

USA HOCKEY OLYMPICS

They were out manned, they were out drafted, they were almost out played…and yet the USA men’s team won!

We just had a better goalie I think at the end of the day.

The Canadians had the puck most of the game.

They looked faster, they looked more in control but they just couldn’t finish it.

It was just meant to be and it appeared the Americans wanted it more.

I grew up playing on the Illinois river.

We played outdoors, we traveled about 7 cities and we played in tournaments.

Watching that game yesterday, I got to watch it with my dad who’s 95.

The pace of that game was just so fast.

They just played so incredibly.

Under the Indiana plan, the Bears are willing to invest $2 billion in the stadium, Huston said. The state would invest around $1 billion. The Bears would have to investigate whether the site meets all its requirements for a stadium before signing any deal, just as they did when the team made similar offers for sites in Chicago and northwest suburban Arlington Heights.

This is the 2nd parade, so the 2nd Krewe that has had a float get stopped and all the riders removed.

They were targeting NOLA police and ICE and State Police by throwing beads, massive bags of beads directly at them.

The incident comes days after riders were removed from a float in the Krewe of Carrollton parade when beads were thrown toward officers along the route. This marks another float being cleared during Carnival season.

Let it be known, I don’t think a Mardi Gras parade is the time to display your political anger.

The people lining up on the streets are not there for that.

It has not solved the war in Ukraine, it took American leadership and partnership still in search of a peace. It was unable to address the narco-terrorist in Venezuela. And we cannot continue to allow those that threaten us to remain shielded. This is the path Americans are on.

You are not going to get this nuance with the alpha male that is Trump.

You are going to get the statesmanship from someone like Rubio.

To undo what Obama and Biden and the Clintons have done, you have to have, and look I don’t care who this offends, you have to have alpha male leadership.

It must be brutally honest and it should be stern.

It needs to be well grounded in Western Civilization and faith.

They don’t want to make common cause.

If we had sane people that truly had the main interest of the citizen, we would have TWO parties trying to Make America Great Again.

They would debate the existence of the IRS.

They would discuss fraud and abuse and waste.

How do you make America great again?

At the end of the day it is all about the people.

The great battle is a moral one.

Steve Bannon

Martin M writes me an email and says….do you see a Steve Bannon pattern? I would be he played a similar strategy at Sirius/XM.

This is the key point I have been making.

We were asked to put skins on the wall when I worked for Sirius.

I thanked them even out the door.

What is Sirius gaining by keeping me off the air?

Certainly not the interest of the sales department and the listeners.

How are the stockholders being served by keeping me off air?

If you can come to that conclusion, how long did they keep Bannon there?

He took my audience of 13 years and destroyed it in 5 months then quit to go help run the Trump campaign.

If it doesn’t make monetary sense, then what sense does it make?

So when I get a note like this from an outside observer I take notice.

Bannon didn’t have an actual body of work to show Sirius.

They are pandering to and preference to an Epstein affiliate requires at minimum a statement.

Bannon and Brietbart didn’t want anyone having access to you.

I talked to Bannon at TPUSA and he acted as if he had no idea who I was.

There is no way he and Sirius can be allowed no confrontation on this.

Sirius played a role in all of this too.

I know there will be people to say this is just sour grapes TKD!
