A successful business owner himself, he now spends most of his time teaching other individuals and companies his tried and true methods. He is a certified teacher in the John Maxwell method, and he shares some critical principles that we all need in today's episode.

Now a single mom, Shannon is still active in her community, in the Christian Chamber, and in her church, Shannon loves giving back to others from the blessings she's received.

Sheri Few just had to get involved in her communities educational system, after watching it slide in a direction full of concerns. She developed a non-profit called USPIE - "US Parents Involved in Education," and she is the proponent for parental rights. A growing ministry, USPIE is behind the new film entitled "Truth and Lies in American Education." Also, Karla Mathis, director of the National House of Hope, on an upcoming event bringing awareness to the growing rate of suicide.

His life is much like a well-lived story in Americana, a young man who grew up to be respected military man and now a candidate for Congress. Calvin Wimbish is active in his local church and in his community. He achieved the rank of being a Green Beret and recently won the primary election on his road to November's general election for the U.S. House of Representatives, District 10 in Florida. A strong man of faith and character, Col. Wimbish is one who loves God and speaks straight.

Doyle Dykes possesses a rare gift, one that has propelled him to play some of biggest stages in country music, including The Grand Ole Opry, both as a member of Grandpa Jones' band, and more recently as a solo artist. He has shared the stage with his peers, other world renown guitarists, and he was asked to play at a memorial for his friend, Chet Atkins. Doyle talks about his new weekly video podcast called "Sunday String-a-long", what he learned on the road, and several great stories. It happened gradually, but Marvin Couch came to the point of recognizing God's unmistakable call on his life - for work as a missionary. He took his first trip, and he was hooked. Since then, doors have opened up all over the world, to all but one continent. And commensurately, his joy grew with his passion to see the nations reached. Today, he is a lay elder at Calvary Orlando, and helps lead their work in missions.

Pete Folch is an inspiring leader, trainer, motivator, and...he is even a marathoner who carries the American Flag! He was in the Shepherd Studios to record some shows with Mark Goldstein for "The Shepherd at Work," and Mike had Pete - and Mark too - stay for a segment on Afternoons With Mike. Also, a visit with Stephanie O'Connor with "Latisha's House," a ministry to women rescued from human trafficking.

First Liberty is a major player in America's fight for religious freedoms - they work pro bono for their clients whose liberties have either been threatened or taken away, and attorney Stephanie Taub brings the heartbreaking story of a fireman who was terminated for taking a leadership class from a church. Also, another visit from Dr. Richard Urso, an ophthalmologist from Houston who is an inventor and scientist. He is concerned about the Covid vaccine, and the long-term effects it will have on our nation.

The 30th Birthday Party for Christian Help was held at Top Golf, and it was a perfect evening for fun, food and fellowship. Mike and the Shepherd microphones were on hand, and this show features interviews from the staff, board, volunteers and supporters of Christian Help, including Doug Prusak, Mike Henderson, Barry Johnson, and Welton James.
