While major castings are confirmed such as Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Charles Dance, and Bryan Tyree Henry, the details of the characters they are playing seem to be in flux. In this video, we discuss the major theories and speculate who could be the villains showcased in the movie might end up being with the most heavily rumored and speculated villainous forces being Two-Face and The Court of Owls.

This week, we look at some of the most prominent comic book movie and show projects that never had their proper conclusions or never saw the light of day, and what they may have looked like.

We take a look at the biggest project cancellations from Marvel and DC Comics, as well as several projects outside the mainstream superhero genre.

We talk about projects such as Marvel's infamous Blade movie cancellation with Mahershala Ali, Sam Raimi's Tobey Maguire Spider-Man 4, the recent cancellation of Wonder Man with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, what was formerly known as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty which has now been reworked into Avengers: Doomsday, and what was pitched as DC's answer to Sony's popular animated Spider-Verse movies, a Batman Beyond movie in a similar art style, as well as several other major projects and franchises.

We discuss what led to the cancellation of the projects, the possibility of them making resurgences in the future, and what we would have liked to see in them had they happened.

Following the recent D23 announcements of the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, such as the X-Men, Ghost Rider, and Black Panther III, there have been major rumors, questions, and speculations as to what the MCU may look like following Avengers: Secret Wars.

Wether it will be a full-scale reboot with new iterations of characters such as Captain America and Iron Man, or will follow the established history of the MCU remains to be seen as Avengers: Secret Wars is greatly expected and speculated to be a sort of soft reboot for the MCU.

In this episode, we discuss what we consider to be the most important thing the MCU needs to figure out following the conclusion of Phase 6 with Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. As we get closer and closer to the release of Avengers: Doomsday, rumors of what the movie and its successor, Secret Wars, will establish are running wild and changing every day. We discuss the things we most want to see them honor, and the standards we wish to see in the next era of the MCU.

This week, we deep dive into the films of five of some of the most influential film directors of the past few decades and what makes their movies look and feel distinctive from one another.

Our choices for the directors we discuss in the episode are both well known and foundational to the film industry with our picks such as Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan, and are growing names within the evolving industry such as Robert Eggers. There of course many exceptional current and past directors. We decided to pick five directors with styles that have stark contrasts to one another to analyze what it is that gives them each their specific feeling.

Following the release of the first official teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, we take a stroll down memory lane of some of the greatest comic book movie trailers of all time including entries from both Marvel and DC.

We start by doing some analysis of the new Avengers: Doomsday trailer, sharing our thoughts on the elements of misdirection and first images of the man himself, Robert Downey Junior as Doctor Doom, returning to the MCU. In a past episode, we decided to prop up some movies and TV shows that we felt did not have their proper appreciation and attention. But this time, we're putting the shoe on the other foot and giving ourselves an opportunity to bash on some of those movies, TV shows, and overall franchises we feel are hyped up too much either by the general public or by their own respective fanbases.

By no means are we saying that any of these are especially terrible, or that the people who love them have poor taste of anything of that manner. Instead we target those movies, TV shows, and franchises that for reasons we can't quite get past are continuously held in such a high regard.

So far, 2026 has been an excellent year for movies, with movies like Project Hail Mary, Obsession, The Backrooms, The Drama and many others. But the remainder of 2026 is slated to have some incredibly major releases as well.

In this episode, we discuss some of the upcoming major releases and what we hope to see from them. We discuss Marvel's grand return to theaters with the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New day and the year ending with the release of Avengers: Doomsday! We also discuss some movies that have captured our attention like the return to the Hunger Games universe with Sunrise On The Reaping, as well as other releases such as Clayface, Dune: Part 3, The End of Oak Street, and Robert Egger's next film, Werwulf!
