Generational gaps are REAL. Often times people of different generations don't quite understand each other. Leaders must continue to develop the skills to know and understand their team. This is an important topic that has recently become a focus for many organizations because they realize how crucial it is for teams to understand and relate to each other.
The 5 Laws of Generational Understanding
Law #1: Generational gaps are typically interaction gaps
Law #2: Each generation will reap what the former generation has sown.
Law #3: There is as much to learn as there is to teach.
Law #4: All generations have the same values, they just express them differently.
Law #5: Each generation imagines itself more intelligent than the one before it, and wiser than the generation after it.

2. Think of their perspective -How do they receive information? -Develop empathy
3. Show the steps -Make it simple
4. Prove the solution

Stu McLaren, founder of Tribe, is a multi-million dollar online entrepreneur. Stu is one of my favorite internet marketers that I follow, mainly because even before I met him, I felt like I already knew him. He somehow, some way, found a way to connect with people online with his authentic leadership style. Ever since I started following Stu, I have started to implement a bit more of my own personality into my leadership roles. I think that many leaders are a bit fearful of bringing their true selves to the forefront of their persona. Many times who we are at home is different than how we are in front of our teams and in public. Stu has truly forced me to re-think the way I approach my leadership style. As I began to showcase my true self, people have been very responsive. I think that millennials are very good at noticing those who are fake and inauthentic, so in dealing with millennials, I realized that this is something I MUST get right.

Today we are going to be talking about most people's top fear: public speaking. Most people hate it. In fact, some hate it more than snakes (AH!). Yet public speaking is a powerful to serve others and increase your influence. Whether you realize it or not, your expertise can bring value to someone's life. By intentionally 1. Explain - What does your point mean? Simple, simple, simple. People understand things different. Make sure everyone understands your point the same. Who is your audience? Why is it valuable to them? 2. Illustrate - Look for an example that helps people comprehend what you're saying. 3. Apply - What should people do? How can they apply this? How can they take their first action?

Many people think that Hustle means to work extremely hard while getting the least amount of sleep possible. I will be the first one to totally, 100% disagree. People like Gary Vaynerchuk, internet and digital marketing entrepreneur, have popularized this idea that hustle means working yourself to the ground because if you are not, someone else is getting ahead. H = Heart U = Understanding S = Systems T = Talents L = Learning E = Effectiveness
