Born in the Dominican Republic, raised in Brooklyn, and later moving to New Jersey, Carlos is a single dad chasing a dream he’s had his whole life — stand-up comedy.

Just one year into comedy, he’s already hitting stages across NYC like Broadway Comedy Club, The Stand, Gotham Comedy Club, and EastVille Comedy Club, and even performed at the Allentown Comedy Festival.

Inspired by watching Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Carlos turned a lifelong love of comedy into reality — even performing internationally at an open mic in Prague.

🎙️ TONIGHT’S SOLO EPISODE: A REROUTE, A WIN & A LOT OF THOUGHTSI was supposed to be in Puerto Rico.That was the plan.But life shifted — and with everything happening in Venezuela, and learning just how close Puerto Rico actually is geographically, I had to pause and really think about safety, timing, and intuition. Puerto Rico isn’t canceled — it’s postponed. And honestly, listening to myself in that moment felt like growth.So instead of the island, I leaned into the reroute.I ended up in Atlantic City, where I learned how to play roulette for the first time… and won some money (beginner’s luck or divine timing, we’ll never know 🎰). I went to Philadelphia, tried a bunch of different foods, and finally visited the Eastern State Penitentiary — which was wild. Seeing Al Capone’s cell in person was surreal… and low-key more luxurious than every other cell there.I also had a Philly cheesesteak in Philly, and yes — we need to talk about whether it’s actually better than a chopped cheese 👀And to celebrate my birthday, I treated myself to a three-course infused dining experience — shoutout to Manja La Ganga 🌿🍽️. I won’t lie, I felt a little high at first, but once I settled in, it became one of the most elevated dining experiences I’ve ever had.
