Personal growth-wise, thanks to my wifey, I have given therapy a chance, opened up to try meds for anxiety/depression management. I was diagnosed as high functioning autistic, which explained decades of personality quirks, dynamics in my family, etc. In the COVID age, I, like many other voice actors, have had to adapt to home sessions (which I love, though I do miss seeing people) and embrace other means of communicating with the fans since the cons are gone for now.
Step one - realize you can't MAKE someone else happy.
Happiness begins on the inside.
Then it radiates outward.
Most people are doin it backwards.
Being in the eye of a hurricane is incredibly peaceful.
Getting there is a real bitch.
Keeping your cool, when the winds are blowing, will keep you grounded.
And free from poop splatter.
What is your mission statement for life?
Are you moving quickly and clearly toward your goal?
Is your authentic on purpose GPS workin?
Or will you end up in Albuquerque?
The Friend Zone does not actually exist.
Sorry to tell you, but it is YOU that got you where you are.
And only you can get yourself out.
If you are stuck, unstick yourself.
And it all begins inside.

Yet, anyone who has a diverse set of opinions from you, may "trigger" you into anger.
Well, that's a bunch of Codswallop, I say!

Do you need help? Do you want help?
Are you just venting?
Is it helping ANYONE?
If not, it's time to rethink your strategy.
Nobody likes to fail. But why?
Because they fear it as a loss.
If you learn from it, then it is a lesson, not a loss.
And lessons that propel you forward are fantastic!
Therefore, Failure is Fantastic!
When a child doesn't like something, they will tell you, bluntly.
They will tell you often.
They will tell you when it has nothing to do with them whatsoever.
So, are you doing the same thing?
