  • Why having a robust diagnostic process makes you a more credible and successful coach

Mindset coaching requires a robust skill set.

Why? Because as a mindset coach, you need to have a detailed insight into and understand:

    Your client’s problem or situation

How they are creating that problem or situation

How they are maintaining the problem or situation

Which of their mindset dimensions need to change to stop the problem or change the situation

What conscious and unconscious change techniques you can use to help your clients to create lasting transformation

Tune into this week’s episode of The Mindset Coach Podcast as we explore the 7 Mindset  DimensionsTMand how having insight into each of these will enable you, as a mindset coach, therapist or leader to work effectively right from the very first session.

The next live round of the Mindset Dimensions Practitioner Program starts on the 19th of September. Click here for more details.

  • Coaches, are you on the naughty or nice list? Find out here.

In this week's episode of The Mindset Coach Podcast, we are diving into our fabulous archives to an episode that received a lot of ‘ah has’ and positive feedback when it first aired on Christmas Day 2021.

In this episode, I share the Nice and Naughty list when it comes to coaching and coaching behaviour, ethics and integrity.

Although originally published over 18 months ago, the content is particularly timely as the coaching industry continues to grow and flourish.

Increasingly, people are recognising the power and value of mindset coaching as a way to help them to achieve their personal and professional goals and alongside this recognition the demand for high-quality, certified coaches is growing too.

Unfortunately, with this increase in demand, I’ve noticed that unethical practices, calling out and bullying are becoming more frequent in the online coaching world.

As coaches, our clients need us to have the knowledge, expertise and experience to help them achieve the outcomes they hire us for. In an unregulated industry, anyone can call themselves a coach and hang up their shingle and work with clients. And there are some transformational coaches out there who don’t have qualifications doing exceptional work.

Whether certified or not, all coaches can benefit from checking out the naughty or nice list to see where their name may be.

  • Mindset Coaching Case Study: Using Strategies with Your Clients

In this week’s episode of The Mindset Coach Podcast, we explore another of our client case studies.

We use coaching case studies like these in our training for the Mindset Coach Certification program so that our coaches learn a wealth of the practical applications of the wide range of modalities we train and certify them in.

This is, of course, in addition to ongoing live, weekly coaching practice.

This week’s case study is about Layla, a client who has lost her motivation. One symptom of her lack of motivation is that she has started hitting the snooze button instead of leaping out of bed each morning as she used to do.

We explore how using strategies and strategy elicitation can help us understand how Layla is running this new pattern so that she can recognise the trigger and sequence of internal representations she uses to make this habit happen.

Once we know how Layla runs the pattern, we can help her to change the strategy so that she is able to achieve her goal of getting up when the alarm goes off.

Tune in to listen and remember to subscribe to the podcast. You can also join in the discussion over in The Mindset Coach Collective Facebook Group.
