Happy 18yr Anniversary The renovated Chevron Autopia which opened on this day, in the year 2000 in Disneyland.

Also, in the year 2000 on this day, Disney’s Mickey & Friends 6 story Parking Structure was completed. Making it one of the largest structures in the United States, holding over 10,000 cars.

On this day in the year 2012, The not so Norm to Disney Channel Shows, Gravity Falls premiers on the Disney Channel. Bringing us a whole new mysterious Feel!

Disneyland Announces, the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio's Daring Journey will continue making appearances in Fantasyland during the next month. So catch her before she flies away!

Speaking of Snow White, on this day in 1987 Disney’s beloved Snow White got her Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Fun Fact: On this day in 1955, Walt Disney wrote a letter to his employees & others who assisted on the creation of his new Anaheim Park inviting them to the Grand Debut on July 17th because he was concerned there wouldn't be enough people scattered around the parks for the TV cameras. Safe to say, that will never be a concern for the Disney organization again.
