At the beginning of scripture, God asks humanity two questions: "Where are you?" and "Where is your brother?" Yet, when we hear these questions, our hearts often struggle to answer. Either, we feel as though we’re either falling short—burdened with shame and condemnation—or we're pushing ourselves too hard—leading to burnout and exhaustion. But Jesus invites us to come to him and take on his yoke, for his burden is light and easy. When we receive his love and follow his lead, we open ourselves to his heart and compassion for those around us.Bible Verses:
