One of the astonishing aspects of the Christian religion, which makes it unique, is that the founder, Jesus of Nazareth, not only spoke eloquently and had tremendous presence but had the power to perform miracles. In front of thousands of witnesses, he multiplied food, raised people from the dead, healed lepers, brought back sight to the blind and cast out demons. No one else, in all of history, had such a track record of working miracles.
