This one is super long, but we decided to leave it as one episode. We're starting a new conversation on emotional healthy spirituality. Do you want to have maturity in Christ, but feel like accumulating knowledge and memorizing Scripture just isn't doing it? 

This episode talks about the problem of emotionally unhealthy spirituality and how that can hinder our maturity in Christ. We discuss the symptoms of unhealthy emotional spirituality and then take a look at the life of King Saul in the Old Testament and how his lack of emotional health contributed to his downfall.

Happy Easter! Christ is Risen!! In today's episode we chat a bit about the mission Jesus gave to the disciples when as he ascended into heaven, but as per usual we meandered along some bunny trails too. Enjoy.

Today we chat about Good Friday. It's a tough conversation as we think through the events on that day. Let's not rush to Resurrection Sunday. Sit for time and meditate on these things. We all know Sunday is coming, but remember what it might have been like for those living in the moment.

We get to visit in person again chatting about Palm Sunday (among other things), looking in the Gospel of Luke (chapter 19:29-46). Jesus resolved to do what needed doing and wept over Jerusalem and its people. Later in Luke's Gospel Jesus encouraged His disciples saying, "But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves." (Luke 21:14) 

What would our lives look like if we resolved ahead of time, before a situation ever happened, that we were going to let the Holy Spirit take the lead?
